Farewell for Now, Lower 48!

Today was the last part of the book tour in the Lower 48. We made two stops in Idaho, including her town of birth! How do you like those potatoes? My press secretary was a bit disappointed that she didn't get to meet Madame while on the book tour. Madame, she wants you to know that people in the Great Opologizer's home state would love to meet you too! But, I digress.

We also posted two Facebook posts. One was about a special auction that Madame is involved in. She is auctioning off the jacket she wore on the cover of her book to benefit wounded soldiers! She's such a giving lady. Madame also posted about our return to Alaska. She will be doing two book signings back at home on Sunday. I've loved our trip throughout the country, but I can't wait to get back to Wasilla!

Does the Climate Change or Does it Go Rogue?

Madame is starting to wind down the book tour. We went to Utah first, which is supposedly Mittens Pomade's territory. If Madame runs in 2012 (please do!), we'll see about that! Madame went to Reno, Nevada for a book signing there too! I wonder what Dirty Harry thinks about this.

But the real fun came this afternoon, when we went to Facebook to put the smackdown on Algore. Oh, the irony! Madame used the very internet that Algore invented to call him out on his response to Madame's awesome op-ed in the Washington Post. Algore called Madame a climate change "denier". Apparently, Algore doesn't read that paper. The Perky One, do you want ask Algore what he reads? Madame said in her piece that she does believe in climate change; she just doesn't believe that it can be attributed to humans.

Algore also said that climate change is like gravity; it exists. Well, Algore, climategate does exist also! As usual, Madame final line of Facebook was great, "Vice President Gore, the Climategate scandal exists. You might even say that it’s sort of like gravity: you simply can’t deny it."

Rocky Mountain High!

Madame 45 had book tour stops in Montana and Colorado. I think that she is bringing Alaskan weather with her everywhere she goes. People in Montana waited outside in the cold in subzero temperature. Tonight, we were in Colorado. With all of the snow and the mountains, I would have thought I was back at home in Alaska! Madame met hundreds and hundreds of fellow rogues today. It was great. Madame met another cool conservative lady, Michelle Malkin! Thankfully, there were no crazies who threw food at Madame today!

I got to help Madame with a special article that is going to be published in tomorrow's Washington Post about Climategate. It was so much fun writing for a LSM publication instead of just on Facebook! Madame spoke out about the Great Opologizer and the Copenhagen conference putting politics ahead of sound science. She used a few of her signature words and phrases like "clobbered" and "cap and tax". She called for the Great Opologizer to boycott Copenhagen. Wow! I wonder how much carbon emissions could be saved if the Great Opologizer didn't fly over to Denmark.

We're off to Utah and Nevada tomorrow! Good times ahead.

A Rogue Tomato in Minnesota

We were in the Minnesota Mullet's home state for a book signing. Madame has had some shining moments here in the land of a thousand lakes. Remember this? While Madame was signing books books at the Mall of America, I spent the day riding the indoor roller coaster at the mall. During the signing, some looney liberal tossed a tomato at Madame, but he missed and hit a cop. Just like the Great Opologizer, this looney didn't have a very good arm.

Tonight, Madame is at a Republican fundraiser with perhaps the next Madame speaker, Michele Bachmann (she'd do a heck of a lot better job than Pukelosi). Just think of what the softy southpaws would think about these two ladies:

Even though Madame was super busy today, she did have time for us to do two Facebook postings. One was Madame's recognition of the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. She always remembers history and the American soldier. Madame also posted about the decision to allow some off shore drilling in Alaska. Wow, the Great Opologizer is allowing this?

Well, I'd better get to hibernating. Riding the roller coaster all day made me feel a little weird. I'll report more from our visit to Montana and Colorado tomorrow!

Going Rogue in the Heartland

Madame gave awesome and funny speech in D.C. last night. What's the difference between a hockey mom and David Letterboy? Clean humor and funny joke delivery. Today, Madame started her day by going to Walter Reed Medical Center to visit injured soldiers.

Then we headed to the heartland. First, we headed to Sioux City, Iowa. People seemed to make a big deal about this, saying things like "2012" and "caucuses". I think that people want to call her Madame 45 just like I do. Then we headed to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A lot of people seem to think that Madame sounds like she is from the Dakotas.

Tomorrow, we're off to the Minnesota, where it all began for Madame at the RNC convention. I wonder if Madame will let me go shopping at the Mall of America while she signs books.

Madame Meets Virginia!

Madame (and her awesome hat) sits with First Dude
at the book signing in Virginia

Madame had a book signing in Virginia. Her supporters were hard core, with some of them waiting for hours in the snow. More than 2,000 people came to see Madame! Plus, the First Dude has been on the tour the past few days, which has made it particularly awesome!

I know that laptops really don't have much fashion sense. We all look pretty much the same. However, I must say that I absolutely loved Madame's outfit today. Her jacket and her hat were awesome!

Tonight, Madame spoke at the Gridiron Club, and boy was she funny! She could very easily take Tiny Fea's job!

Madame said that if VP Hairplugs wrote a book it would be called Going Rogaine. She also said that she could see the Russian embassy from D.C. You can check out some more of Madame's funny quotes here and here. I always knew that Madame was a hoot, but I'm glad that everyone else gets to see her humor too.

We're off to Iowa and North Dakota tomorrow. The softy southpaws know these places as "flyover country".

A Lonestar LOTUS

Madame 45 had two book signings today in Texas. I like Texas. I have some friends, who are calculators, who were invented down here. They are good guys.

Prior to the signings today and after I posted last night, Madame put up two more Facebook notes. One of them was to preemptively call out the crazies who might misconstrue something she said about the Great Opologizer.

The other post was a moving story about the American soldier. It is quite patriotic. If I had tear ducts, I would have cried.

First stop today was Plano. Madame must a bit of the Alaskan weather down with her because the Texans thought it was cold! It's that darn global warming?! Right Algore? The second stop was at Ft. Hood. Madame really appreciates the military. She donated the proceeds from this stop to the families of those who were killed in the shootings at Ft. Hood. She is one giving lady.

Tomorrow we are off to Virginia. Then, Madame is going to speak at the Gridiron Club in Washington D.C. with Bawney Fwank. Oh, that's going to be a hoot!

Going Rogue in the MidSouth

Madame signing books in Oklahoma

We've had a busy past two days! Yesterday, we were in the Show Me state. Madame visited Springfield, MO for a book signing. Sadly, Madame didn't let me go to the Bass Pro Shop while she was signing books. I wanted to see if they had any waterproof gear for LOTUSes. Maybe then I could go fishing with the family.

Madame also gave an awesome speech at the College of the Ozarks. Super early this morning we posted a Facebook post about the event with some pictures from the tour. Madame included her priorities in the title: faith, family, and freedom. These are the antithesis (I've been using my dictionary) to the Great Opologizer's priorities: me, myself, and I.

Today we traveled to Aw Shucksabee's homestate of Arkansas and to Oklahoma (where the winds come sweeping down the plains). Sorry, I downloaded the Oklahoma! soundtrack on Madame's itunes for the trip.

Tonight, we posted two posts on Facebook. One was a statement from Madame's lawyer, Thomas Van Fine ( he's not a bad looking guy, for a human). He shared some thoughts about the "ethics complaints" that some crazies threw at Madame while she was governor. The other post included Madame's thoughts on the climategate situation. Madame wants the real science not the snake oil science to be discussed. It was good stuff including some signature sarcasm. She told people it wasn't a sin against the earth to drive an SUV. Ha. Good one, Madame.

The BOTUS was busy today. You can check out her work here.

We'll be in Texas tomorrow. Yeehaw!

A Platinum Rogue in the Southwest

We were back on book tour today with stops in Arizona and New Mexico. I wanted Madame to put me on a corner with my itunes blaring so that I could sing along to "Take It Easy" by the Eagles as I would be standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. Madame told me that we would be in Tempe, Arizona. We also went to Roswell, New Mexico tonight! While Madame was signing, she gave me the role of UFO czar while I was hanging out on the bus. I didn't see anything though.

Madame wrote two Facebook posts today! She called out the LSM (Lamestream media) for their "story" about the fact that Madame sometimes has the need to fly on the book tour. Madame pulled out the sarcasm big time for this post. We even did something a little different in this post. We used an emoticon in the title! :) I love it when Madame uses her signature sarcasm. She did so on two instances in this post:

1)" What’s even funnier is that these same media outlets think it’s shocking that we stay in hotels. I guess they expected us to pitch a tent alongside the road. We love the great outdoors, but such an arrangement is hardly practical for a book tour. "

Madame, please don't even tease about that. I'm a city LOTUS. I'm not used to the outdoors!

2)" I’m truly humbled by the response to my book tour by everyday Americans, and if traveling by plane means that I can meet more of these wonderful people, I’ll travel by plane (or bus or train or canoe or dog sled or whatever it takes)."

I think that the LSM is just upset that the First Dude isn't driving Madame around on a snowmachine to get her between book stops. They might even be disappointed that she isn't traveling by helicopter so that she can do some aerial wolf hunting in between tour stops.

Madame also posted a note following the Great Opologizer's speech regarding his Afghan strategy. Madame was pretty diplomatic towards the guy, although she definitely wants to make victory the goal. The Great Opologizer doesn't like to use that word.

I must mention some other news from today. Madame went platinum. No, that doesn't mean that she's a blonde now. It does mean, though that Going Rogue has already sold over 1,000,000 copies! Wow! I feel so proud of Madame. I'm so glad that I got to be a part of that success.

We're off to Missouri for a book signing and Madame is giving a speech tomorrow. Good times are ahead!

Going Extra Rogue

Madame was back on the book tour today, stopping in the Tri-City area of Washington. Madame even went a little bit extra rogue today by stopping outside to greet supporters waiting in line outside prior to going inside to sign books.

Tonight, Madame posted a note on Facebook about the Great Opologizer's upcoming TV appearance (press conference) about his decision on Afghanistan. I have a feeling that the softy southpaws aren't going to like this one. Madame used the "c" word and the "w" word: Christmas and win. I'm not sure if the softy southpaws even really understand the word "win" in the context of war, so let me help them out: win (verb)-to be the victor. Get it? Madame also used the phrase "war on terror". The softy southpaws like to call this "war" an overseas contingency operation, so I hope they actually understand what Madame is saying.

Washington is known for its apples. Being an Apple myself, it was very homey to be here, even if I was amongst the edible kind of Apples. We are heading to Arizona and New Mexico on Tuesday! Woohoo!

Typing on Sunshine...ohh ohh..

Since Madame mentioned me, the BOTUS, on Greta tonight, the LOTUS said that I could fill in for her with tonight's post. Check out the clip above.

We've been traveling through Florida tonight, and the LOTUS and I have been excited to see more of our fruit friends. I am a blackberry, and the LOTUS is an Apple. It was nice to be amongst the citrus fruit today. Madame made stops in Jacksonville, The Villages, and Orlando today to sign books. Madame has been having a blast, but she is losing her voice a bit. Madame also had an interview with Fox and Friends that will air tomorrow.

We did some Facebook work today, posting some pictures from the tour and calling out the Softy Southpaws for wanting to create a war tax rather than choosing to spend money more prudently. Madame also gave me the job of tweeting throughout the day. It's been so much fun!

We're taking a break from the book tour for a few days and heading to Washington to see some of Madame's family for Thanksgiving.

To close, I have some amusing news to share. Apparently, Martha Stewpid is not a big fan of Madame:

Very boring? Even the craziest of the softy southpaws wouldn't call her boring! Dangerous, well, some of the softy southpaws and the RINOs see her as a political threat, so perhaps that is an accurate description in some cases. I'd like to see Madame show Martha Stewpid how to kill, field dress, prepare, and cook moose. I bet all of her friends in the Hamptons would love that. Martha would squirm, and that's a good thing.

Sweet Homepage Alabama!

Madame and Trig meet Billy Graham

Madame had dinner with Reverend Billy Graham last night. Billy Graham's son said that Billy Graham had this to say about Madame: "Daddy feels God was using her to wake America up." Amen, Reverend. I wonder what Minister Aw Shucksabee thinks about that. Poor guy!

Madame has been on fire all day today, starting with an inspiring Facebook post! She even brought out her inner Donald Trump: "We can take it back because we’re fired up, and we’re all about telling our government to listen to us, trust us, get back on our side… or politicians: you’re fired." Check out the Facebook link! You can see pictures, including one of Madame with the BOTUS!

We visited Ft. Bragg in North Carolina and Birmingham, Alabama today. I pick up a Southern accent easily, as today has shown. Can ya'll tell?

Madame also had a great interview with Greta today! What else would you expect? Greta is the anagram of great! You can see more of the interview tomorrow!

Also, now that my press secretary has finished the book, I can tell you that Madame mentioned me in the book. I don't want to reveal too much for those who haven't went rogue or who are still in the process of going rogue, but check out page 400! Madame discusses the work that we have done!

I'd better transition into hibernation mode. We are off to Florida tomorrow, and Madame is on Fox and Friends.

Talk to ya'll later!

A Rogue Weekend

Madame has been quite the busy bee this weekend. We have made book tour stops in Pennsylvania, New York, and Virginia this weekend. Madame was even nice enough to stop by and say "hello" to the people who had been waiting overnight in Virginia to see her! Madame may not hold an elected office right now, but she certainly still sees herself as a public servant. Today in Virginia, Madame introduced me to Tito the Builder. It was a lot of fun.

Also, just after my last post Friday night, Madame decided that we need to post another health care Facebook post prior to heading to Pennsylvania. The woman never tires!

We are now in North Carolina. At least I think we are; I don't have a GPS program installed on me so sometimes I get confused.

I haven't been as busy lately, so I get a lot of time to chill on the bus. The BOTUS has been busy on twitter though. You can keep up with her work here. I wish I could help out with the tweets, but the BOTUS isn't quite as bulky as I am, so she is a little more portable. It makes it easier for Madame to tweet from her. Perhaps I should lay of the cookies or at least disable them. Maybe then I would be less bulky. Oh well. Perhaps I will get to tweet soon for Madame. In the meantime, I'll just stick to my own twitter account.

Madame got to have dinner tonight with Billy Graham, and she gets to do a signing at Ft. Bragg tomorrow. I know she is quite excited about both of these. There are few things that are more important to Madame than her faith and the troops.

No ACORNs just Buckeyes!

We went to Ohio today with stops in Cincinnati and Colombus. It's been an exhilarating, but busy last few days. Not long after I wrote last night's post, Madame decided it was time for another health care post. Geez, does this woman ever go into hibernation mode?

Before the book tour stops, Madame spoke with Dennis Miller on his radio show, then Madame was off to sign some books. It's amazing that she has signed her name thousands of times in the last few days, yet her right hand shows no signs of letting up when she decides to "type, type, send".

Madame also decided to write a special post regarding the stop in yesterday Indiana because not everyone who wanted to see Madame got the chance to do so. Wow. While the Great Opologizer is out apologizing for America, Madame is apologizing to Americans for things that are outside of her control. Madame is one classy lady.

The BOTUS wrapped up the day with a tweet! We are off to New York tomorrow!

I have to go rogue myself here and add a few other fun tidbits outside of the book tour!

First, today is VP Hairplugs' birthday, so happy birthday, Joe! I wonder if he has plans to visit Katie's Diner or Home Depot to celebrate.

Also, it seems the Great Opologizer is scare of Madame. Just look at what he's trying to do. Hmm, maybe he does see her as a threat!

The Hoosier State

I was able to get some re-charging on the bus today, so I'm back and ready for whatever we have in store next. Big thanks to the BOTUS for filing in for me last night. We stopped in Fort Wayne and Noblesville, Indiana. The good ol' Hoosier state. Supposed funny man, David Letterboy, is from Indiana, but I don't think that thousands of people would wait in the cold to see him!

Madame also did an interview with Laura Ingraham, and part of her interview with Bill O'Reilly was shown tonight. Of course Madame was a patriot not a pinhead. I can't wait to see more of that interview tomorrow, including some more policy focused questions.

We are off to the Buckeye state tomorrow. More news soon!

Guest Post from the BOTUS!

The LOTUS is hibernating in the back of the bus as we have begun the book tour. She has been so tired by the past few months with all of the work that she and Madame have been doing. So, in honor of Madame's first book tour tweet, she is letting me write tonight's post! Who I am, you ask? Well, I am the BOTUS (Blackberry of the United States)! Madame put me to work a lot when she was tweeting as governor, but I've been a little bit bored lately. Now, I'm being put back to work! I'd like to think that Madame saved or created a job for me!

OK, so down to the good stuff! Madame had interviews today on Mark Levin's and Sean Hannity's radio shows. She was also appeared on Hannity's TV show tonight, which she taped yesterday. However, the really fun came in Michigan with the start of the book tour. My goodness were people excited. Some people went super rogue, and were even camping out as early as last night to see Madame! Madame has a great time meeting Michiganders and people from other states who traveled to see her:

Madame also released her schedule for the remainder of the book tour. We are going to be stopping by a lot of other places in the next month. Keep logged on to twitter, and myself or the LOTUS will give you the low down.

Now I also have to let you know about another interview that Madame did with National Review Online. In addition to radio and TV interviews, Madame has done some print interviews with various magazines. The LOTUS was indirectly discussed in this interview, and she was pretty excited. So, she wanted me to mention it:

On Facebook, which she has made such a powerful means of political communication: “Having a virtual office, and just working from my kitchen table, kind of forced me in that direction,” says Palin. “It’s become such an important tool in political discourse and discussion.”

Yep, the LOTUS is a tool! Wait, that came out wrong. The LOTUS is a good and effective tool for Madame to use to communicate her message. That's really what I meant.

Well, I'd better get going. I have some work to do. See you all in Indiana. We're pulling out of Michigan, but this time on our own terms!

On the Road again with Madame and the BOTUSes!

I was so excited to help Madame post about the book tour schedule and our return to Twitter! That means that the BOTUSes and I get to work together again!I know that they are excited that they get to help Madame get out her message about the book tour.

I must say I'm excited about returning to Twitter. I enjoy the challenge of the 140 character limit! I miss our days previously tweeting.

We're starting out the book tour in Michigan. I think we're starting there because Madame really didn't want to pull out of campaigning there last year, but Senator McAnonymous didn't want to win the Wolverine state. Madame first "went rogue" by expressing her desire to actually try to win!

We are going to Indiana (Hoosiers!), Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. YAAAHAY!! Sorry, I had a Howard Dean moment. Did anyone else notice that some of those states are swing states? I wonder if that means anything. Those are just the place we are going to go before spending Thanksgiving in Washington state. How do you like them apples? We are going to head West after the holiday.

I can't wait for the trip, riding in the bus with the BOTUSes. Perhaps First Dude and the kids will join us for at least some of the trip. I can't wait to see the country. We are even going to visit some an army base! That will be fun. Madame loves the military. I can't wait to tweet about our adventures. Perhaps Madame will let me write a book about our adventures later.

Going Rogue National Tour!

We're going on a book tour! I'm so excited! I love to travel! Madame was so happy to announce her book tour on Facebook today. She was so happy that she used 4 exclamation points! We're going to be announcing our stops in the next few days, but they aren't going to be in your typical book tour venues. As you well know, Madame is not your typical politician. I wonder where we will be going. Oh, look at me, I'm such a groupie. Hmm, since this is a tour, I wonder if I should start a website to sell tour merchandise. Perhaps I could sell " I went rogue, and all I got was this bestselling book" t-shirts! I think Madame would support me in this. She is all about supporting small businesses!

Not only are we going on book tour, we are also going to be doing some interviews! By now you've probably already heard that Madame is going on Oprah! Talk about a "Favorite Things" edition of the show. I hope Oprah's on her best behavior; she supported the Great Opologizer in the election last year. Madame is also hoping to speak with Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller, and Tammy Bruce.

I hope this means that Bill O'Reilly will stop pleading for Madame to be on his show. It's kind of pathetic, you Pinhead! Oh, I'm just kidding, Bill! I wonder if he will make me the subject of his Talking Points Memo on that edition of the show! Madame has already talked to some of the Fox hosts and radio show hosts before, but I'm sure she is still excited to talk to them this time. I must give major dittos to Madame for being such a Great American! I think that Tammy Bruce will be especially excited to talk to Madame. Tammy loves it when Madame Type, Type, Sends!

She is also going to talk to her Alaskan friends, Eddie Burke and Bob and Mark.

Madame is so excited for the book tour and to meet many Americans! I know I am! I'd better work on writing my signature!
