Going Rogue in the Badger State

Madame speaking in Waukesha, WI last fall

Madame spoke at a Pro-life event in Milwaukee,Wisconsin tonight. We'd been to the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha last fall as pictured above. As there were no laptops allowed, I had to wait in the car. Thankfully, Madame made sure that my battery was fully charged. I put on the cheesehead hat that Madame was kind enough to buy for me and decided to watch this video, since I was in the Badger state.

She told the thousands of attendees that they were "going rogue" for attending and standing up for pro-life issues. Darn right, Madame! You tell 'em. She even took some time speak about Pukelosi 's (oops, did I spell that right?) health care reform; Madame wants to be sure that everyone's voices are heard. She talked about the Great Opologizer, but didn't mention his name. This is a sneaky tactic that Madame uses in her Facebook posts and that she used in her RNC speech. She does this when she wants to be critical of her political opponents, but doesn't want to give them "free advertising".

I wonder if Madame will re-enact this with me before we leave Milwaukee:

Madame Speaks on the Ft. Hood Tragedy

Madame posted the following note on Facebook tonight:

Todd and I would like to offer our condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic shooting today at Ft. Hood. Our thoughts and prayers will be with them.

- Sarah Palin

I cannot add anything more to what Madame has written, except to say, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she, the Commandress-in-Chief, means it.

Madame's Facebook Hat Trick

Madame 45, the Hockey Mom, produced a veritable Facebook hat trick yesterday. I wrote about the first two Facebook "goals" that Madame scored yesterday. After all of the election results came in yesterday, Madame produced her final masterpiece of a post.

She entitled the post, "A Victory for Common Sense and Fiscal Sanity". Surely, Madame, you aren't insinuating that the softy southpaws don't use common sense and are fiscally insane?

She first congratulated the New Jersey and Virginia Republicans who won the governorships in their states. She also gave a shout out to the Lieutenant Governor-elect of New Jersey, Kim Guadagno, who was the first woman to hold that office! Madame said that these politicians represented "positive change". Did you hear that, Great Opologizer? Positive change--not the hopeless negative change you're dishing out!

Madame was optimistic, as always, even though Doug Hoffman lost the election, or as Madame postponed until next year. Always the optimist! She reminded us about the fact that the elections are about "fiscal restraint, smaller government, and policies that encourage jobs". That's right, VP Hair Plugs. It's about that 3 letter words J-O-B-S!

Madame closed with a quote from the Great Communicator:
“The cause goes on. Don't get cynical because look at yourselves and what you were willing to do, and recognize that there are millions and millions of Americans out there that want what you want, that want it to be that way, that want it to be a shining city on a hill.”

Madame and the Great Communicator, I tip my screen to you both!

Going Rogue National Tour!

We're going on a book tour! I'm so excited! I love to travel! Madame was so happy to announce her book tour on Facebook today. She was so happy that she used 4 exclamation points! We're going to be announcing our stops in the next few days, but they aren't going to be in your typical book tour venues. As you well know, Madame is not your typical politician. I wonder where we will be going. Oh, look at me, I'm such a groupie. Hmm, since this is a tour, I wonder if I should start a website to sell tour merchandise. Perhaps I could sell " I went rogue, and all I got was this bestselling book" t-shirts! I think Madame would support me in this. She is all about supporting small businesses!

Not only are we going on book tour, we are also going to be doing some interviews! By now you've probably already heard that Madame is going on Oprah! Talk about a "Favorite Things" edition of the show. I hope Oprah's on her best behavior; she supported the Great Opologizer in the election last year. Madame is also hoping to speak with Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller, and Tammy Bruce.

I hope this means that Bill O'Reilly will stop pleading for Madame to be on his show. It's kind of pathetic, you Pinhead! Oh, I'm just kidding, Bill! I wonder if he will make me the subject of his Talking Points Memo on that edition of the show! Madame has already talked to some of the Fox hosts and radio show hosts before, but I'm sure she is still excited to talk to them this time. I must give major dittos to Madame for being such a Great American! I think that Tammy Bruce will be especially excited to talk to Madame. Tammy loves it when Madame Type, Type, Sends!

She is also going to talk to her Alaskan friends, Eddie Burke and Bob and Mark.

Madame is so excited for the book tour and to meet many Americans! I know I am! I'd better work on writing my signature!

Vote, Baby, Vote!

Madame and I have had a busy day! I will have to tell you about the super exciting news in a bit, but for now I'll let you know about our first post on Facebook today! Madame is all about suffrage and reminding people about their rights. She reminded people to vote in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York. Not only that, Madame gave a shout out to some women who shattered some glass ceilings of their own: Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. Madame is obviously a big fan of the 19th amendment! She said in her post, "[w]hen we consider the sacrifices made to give us this right, there is simply no excuse not to vote." Darn right, Madame!

Madame also focused on common sense. You see, with Madame, it's about common sense, not conventional wisdom. I have to say the last line of Madame's post lately have been brilliant. Today was no different: "Vote today in honor of our past and with hope for our future."

Now, does anyone want to lobby for the 28th Amendment so that LOTUSes can vote? I'd really appreciate it. Sadly though, no matter whether or not I get the chance to vote, I'll never get to run for President. I wasn't made here!

A Village in Delaware Is Missing Its Idiot

Vice President Hair Plugs opened his mouth today and inserted his foot yet again today while campaigning for Bill Owens, the Democratic nominee for the Congressional seat in the 23rd District.

The way that Hair Plugs was talking you would have thought it was 2008 rather than 2009, but he seems to get his times mixed up. He took a shot a Madame on energy, especially "drill, baby, drill". He condescendingly stated that energy policy was more "complicated" than that. Yes, maybe for you, Mr.VP, you probably think "drill" is a 6 letter word. You don't lie about Madame's stance on energy and expect to get away with it! Madame went straight to Facebook, and we went to work. She reminded him that she believes in an all-of-the-above approach. I guess Hair Plugs wasn't paying attention to Madame when she beat him in the debate last year. Madame even pointed out that Hair Plugs voted against an Alaskan pipeline bill back in 1973, when Madame was just 9. Say it ain't so, Joe! Madame is used to taking on Joe the Gaffer!

Just like yesterday, Madame closed with some sarcasm (Yes!): "There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman! "

Gotta love when Madame couples sarcasm with support for a strong conservative candidate!

Madame Goes Joe Wilson on Daggett

Photo from Sarah Palin 2012
Madame's latest Facebook post was short, sarcastic, and to the point! Just the way I like it! She pulled a Web 2.0 Joe Wilson on Chris Daggett, the independent candidate for Governor in New Jersey. He said that Madame told him to drop out of the race on MSNBC today. She never even contacted him or his campaign!

She said that Daggett was "playing loose with the facts". That crossed the line. Madame doesn't like lies and false accusations! She has told the media to "quit making things up"and has called attacks by anklebiters, "bullcrap". She doesn't like to mince words! After all, she is both a pit bull and a barracuda! She's fierce!

The final line was my favorite, the simplicity of sarcastic ellipses, "I’ve never even suggested he should drop out of the race. But, come to think of it…"

Oh, Madame, you slay me!
