Facebook Freedom from Madame and Hasselhoff!

As today was the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Madame wanted to show her support for this act giving freedom to millions and representing the eventual fall of an Evil Empire, so she posted on Facebook. I'm glad that she posted it. I was made long after the wall came down, and the only kind of wall I'm familiar with is a firewall.

Madame of course gave credit to Ronald Reagan, in addition to many others, for his role in bringing freedom to a land of tyranny. Madame wrote about how this event brought freedom, democracies, market economies, security, self-determination, and prosperity. As always, the final line of Madame's post was pure poetry, "[t]yranny is no match for the hope and resolve of those who work and fight for freedom." You betcha, Madame!

To celebrate this anniversary, I downloaded this video from Baywatch man:

Will Botox Be Covered under Pukelosicare?

The Pukelosi health care "reform" bill passed through the House last night. Once I saw that news stream across the web, I knew that a Facebook post was coming from Madame.

Madame wasted no time calling out the government for their quest to take over the another part of the American economy. She followed this up by asking Pukelosi a flurry of challenging questions that could have buried the Speaker like an Alaskan snowstorm in January. She asked about the broken promise of transparency, the supposed need to rush the passage of the bill, and the fear that Congress has of the American people and their desire to read the bill first.

I had a few questions for Pukelosi, but Madame wouldn't let me post them on Facebook, so I'll post them here:

1) Will McAfee VirusScan and Norton Anti-virus be rationed under this bill, Ms. Speaker? I don't want to get a virus and become corrupted just because of the public option.

2) What will happen to you if the plan eventually leads to the non-coverage of Botox for Congresswomen?

3) How were you able to make a facial expression that looked like a smile following the passage of that vote?

4) How does it feel to be Joan Rivers's twin?

OK, OK, that last question wasn't health care related, but I've always been curious.

Madame really took the Speaker to task on the effects this bill will have on the overall economy, jobs, the free market, and personal liberties. She also wrote about the "death panels", abortion, and coverage of illegal aliens. Read it; it's good!

She even made a reference to the Preamble of the Constitution. Hmm, was that a shot at the softy southpaws like Pukelosi herself and Rachel Maddow, who either don't take the Constitution seriously or don't know that the Preamble exists?

Madame remains positive. We can't give up hope; we can't stop fighting. These Congressmen and women will either listen to the people now or in 2010 when they become one of the unemployed.

Pukelosi: Madame's Latest Facebook Victim

Madame didn't rest up a whole lot after last night's speech in Wisconsin before we went to work on Facebook calling out Speaker Pukelosi and her supposed need to rush health care legislation before everyone gets the chance to actually read the bill.

Madame had a whole bunch of questions for Pukelosi regarding rushing legislation, the cost of the bill, and taxes. You see, this bill will require a tax increase on small businesses. Hmm, increasing taxes when unemployment is up above 10%, not a smart idea. Madame used her signature sarcasm many times in this post. The "walking middle finger to the BosNYWash élite" was in action big time in this post. She called out the softy southpaws big time on the coverage of illegal immigrants and abortion in the bill. She also used the "death panel" phrase. Uh oh, that might just the Great Opologizer all wee-weed up.

Madame really raked Pukelosi over the coals for her broken promises regarding transparency and allowing people 3 days ro read the bill. Pssh, the Great Opolgizer's adminstration's idea of transparency is making sure that they use enough Windex on TOTUS that he is see through. She even called Pelosicare a train wreck. You betcha, Madame!

Madame closed with a P.S., a chart showing the bureaucracy of Pelosicare:

Kudos to the LOJEC (the Laptop of the Joint Economic Committee) for helping put that chart together. Such an assignment would have driven me crazy.

Now fellow patriots, as Madame said, " [s]tand up and make your voices heard before it’s too late. Call and email your representatives and tell them to vote “no” on Pelosi’s train wreck of a health care bill, or else we will vote “no” to sending them back to Washington when we go to the polls in less than 12 months."

Just say no to Pelosicare!

Going Rogue in the Badger State

Madame speaking in Waukesha, WI last fall

Madame spoke at a Pro-life event in Milwaukee,Wisconsin tonight. We'd been to the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha last fall as pictured above. As there were no laptops allowed, I had to wait in the car. Thankfully, Madame made sure that my battery was fully charged. I put on the cheesehead hat that Madame was kind enough to buy for me and decided to watch this video, since I was in the Badger state.

She told the thousands of attendees that they were "going rogue" for attending and standing up for pro-life issues. Darn right, Madame! You tell 'em. She even took some time speak about Pukelosi 's (oops, did I spell that right?) health care reform; Madame wants to be sure that everyone's voices are heard. She talked about the Great Opologizer, but didn't mention his name. This is a sneaky tactic that Madame uses in her Facebook posts and that she used in her RNC speech. She does this when she wants to be critical of her political opponents, but doesn't want to give them "free advertising".

I wonder if Madame will re-enact this with me before we leave Milwaukee:

Madame Speaks on the Ft. Hood Tragedy

Madame posted the following note on Facebook tonight:

Todd and I would like to offer our condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic shooting today at Ft. Hood. Our thoughts and prayers will be with them.

- Sarah Palin

I cannot add anything more to what Madame has written, except to say, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she, the Commandress-in-Chief, means it.

Madame's Facebook Hat Trick

Madame 45, the Hockey Mom, produced a veritable Facebook hat trick yesterday. I wrote about the first two Facebook "goals" that Madame scored yesterday. After all of the election results came in yesterday, Madame produced her final masterpiece of a post.

She entitled the post, "A Victory for Common Sense and Fiscal Sanity". Surely, Madame, you aren't insinuating that the softy southpaws don't use common sense and are fiscally insane?

She first congratulated the New Jersey and Virginia Republicans who won the governorships in their states. She also gave a shout out to the Lieutenant Governor-elect of New Jersey, Kim Guadagno, who was the first woman to hold that office! Madame said that these politicians represented "positive change". Did you hear that, Great Opologizer? Positive change--not the hopeless negative change you're dishing out!

Madame was optimistic, as always, even though Doug Hoffman lost the election, or as Madame postponed until next year. Always the optimist! She reminded us about the fact that the elections are about "fiscal restraint, smaller government, and policies that encourage jobs". That's right, VP Hair Plugs. It's about that 3 letter words J-O-B-S!

Madame closed with a quote from the Great Communicator:
“The cause goes on. Don't get cynical because look at yourselves and what you were willing to do, and recognize that there are millions and millions of Americans out there that want what you want, that want it to be that way, that want it to be a shining city on a hill.”

Madame and the Great Communicator, I tip my screen to you both!

Going Rogue National Tour!

We're going on a book tour! I'm so excited! I love to travel! Madame was so happy to announce her book tour on Facebook today. She was so happy that she used 4 exclamation points! We're going to be announcing our stops in the next few days, but they aren't going to be in your typical book tour venues. As you well know, Madame is not your typical politician. I wonder where we will be going. Oh, look at me, I'm such a groupie. Hmm, since this is a tour, I wonder if I should start a website to sell tour merchandise. Perhaps I could sell " I went rogue, and all I got was this bestselling book" t-shirts! I think Madame would support me in this. She is all about supporting small businesses!

Not only are we going on book tour, we are also going to be doing some interviews! By now you've probably already heard that Madame is going on Oprah! Talk about a "Favorite Things" edition of the show. I hope Oprah's on her best behavior; she supported the Great Opologizer in the election last year. Madame is also hoping to speak with Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller, and Tammy Bruce.

I hope this means that Bill O'Reilly will stop pleading for Madame to be on his show. It's kind of pathetic, you Pinhead! Oh, I'm just kidding, Bill! I wonder if he will make me the subject of his Talking Points Memo on that edition of the show! Madame has already talked to some of the Fox hosts and radio show hosts before, but I'm sure she is still excited to talk to them this time. I must give major dittos to Madame for being such a Great American! I think that Tammy Bruce will be especially excited to talk to Madame. Tammy loves it when Madame Type, Type, Sends!

She is also going to talk to her Alaskan friends, Eddie Burke and Bob and Mark.

Madame is so excited for the book tour and to meet many Americans! I know I am! I'd better work on writing my signature!
